This registration session will allow you to sign consents, complete contact information and submit payment.  To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover or Checking account information available.  Following the completion of this registration, you will see a charge on your account from Biddeford Youth Hockey Association.

We are proud to continue our partnership with Atlantic Coast Hockey (ACH) to assist in running our BYHA practices.  The professional ACH staff follows the USA Hockey American Development Model for practices.

The $95 cost of uniforms is in addition to the program fee, but jerseys can be reused each year. Only purchase if needed.

 8U Flex

Birth Years 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 

This level of instruction is for the birth year 2017-2018, and first year hockey players birth year 2015-2016. Players are grouped based on the USA Hockey American Development Model (Visit  https://www.admkids.com/ for more info on ADM ). The model focuses on proper skill development and repetition of the fundamentals of hockey, including puck handling techniques, small area games, and skating techniques.  At this level, USA Hockey allows for cross-ice games only.  The 8U Flex program typically practices 2x per week, with a transition to the 2nd practice being utilized for games. Additional games with area teams will be scheduled based on the teams development.  

Birth year 2015-2016 8u flex players will be evaluated the first week of the season and over Christmas break to ensure proper placement within BYHA 8u programs and are progressing per ADM Guidelines.

Birth Years 2015-2016 

This level of instruction is for 2015-2016 birth year players who have hockey experience. First year hockey players would be encouraged to sign up for our 8u flex program (see below) to help learn basic skills and hockey development*. Players are grouped based on the USA Hockey American Development Model (Visit  https://www.admkids.com/ For more info on ADM) .This model focuses on proper skill development and repetition of the fundamentals of hockey, including puck handling techniques, small area games, and skating techniques. At this level USA Hockey allows for cross-ice games only. The 8U program typically practices 2x per week with 1-2 games per weekend(both home & away) with a tournament at the end of the season.

* Birth year 2015 8U flex players will be evaluated in the first week of the season and  Christmas break to ensure proper placement within BYHA programs. After the 2023 Christmas break 8U players can begin to learn full ice to prepare for the transition to 10U for the 2024-2025 season. A supplemental 8U extended play will be offered at an additional cost.

14U

For players born in 2009 & 2010

• 15 -20 +/- games
• 1 tournament included

**Learn to Skate and Learn to Play will have a separate registration.**

BYHA can only accept credit card payments through the online registration.  If you want to pay by credit card, you must do so through this registration session, either as a full payment or through the online payment plan.  Transaction fees of 3% of the program cost plus $1 per transaction will be added to your total cost at check-out.

Each Player must register first with USA Hockey and then return to this Registration Session to signup for the 2023-2024 Season.

• Step 1:  CLICK HERE to go to USA Hockey Registration and register your player(s). Be sure to PRINT and SAVE their confirmation code(s). Remember to register EACH of your players with USA Hockey. Each player must have their own unique USA Hockey confirmation number.
• Step 2:  Return to this registration and proceed. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the USA Hockey Confirmation Code that you received in Step 1.
